Dear and Rev. Fr. Gustavo and all the Participants of the General Chapter . It is God who does. We, the Guanellian sisters are praying and offering the Holy Masses for the fruitful out come of the 20th General Chapter of the Servants of Charity. During this Novena of our Bl. Clare, may her Powerful intercession brings upon you the Blessings from above, so that to overcome all the evil forces that would distract you, weaken you,but instead the Spirit of the Living Lord inspires, strengthens and Directs you to SPREAD THE CHARITY OF CHRIST. Today Jesus command you the Servants of Charity, especially through the events of the Celebration of the General Chapter that "You yourselves give them something to eat" Mk.6/37, it means working to eliminate the structural causes of poverty in the name of the Globalization and to promote the integral development of the poor,as well as small daily acts of solidarity in meeting the real needs which we encounter.(Pope Francis ). As our Founder says, the whole world is our home land , Yes, for us Guanellians, It is very important to go beyond, look beyond our boundaries (cultures,languages,races...) to feel that we are Church - THE ONE FAMILY OF GOD THE FATHER . Da parte nostra una preghiera particolare e forte durante il Capitolo che siate aperti allo Spirito che tiene il patrimonio spirituale dell'istituto e Carisma del fondatore. Le sfide appunto con le quali ci dobbiamo confrontare sono molte specialmente credo per l'India e altre nazioni dove sono numerose le vocazioni. Primariamente bisogna tenere fisso la nostra identità nella formazione dei confratelli giovani e il nostro stile del nostro apostolato nella cultura asiatica e africana. siamo presenti con voi nelle preghiere e saluti per le buone decisioni. SUPERIOR GENERAL AND HIS COUNCIL On this historical day of 20th general chapter of servants of charity, we the Guanellian family of Cuddalore community wishes you all the participants all the very best in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who is the source of everything in this world. May the radiance of his glory fill the hearts of the confreres, may you also be imbibed by the great assistance of the Holy Spirit. As the central theme of Interculturality we travel in unity of diversity in respecting, accepting and understanding the sentiments and feelings of others culture. May the chapter fathers think progressively for the future prosperity of the mission and to spread the tent of charity to the whole world. As our Beloved Father and founder says “As long as there are poor and neglected to be assisted our charity has no end”. We the Fathers, brothers and all the receipts assure our prayers and support. | Carissimo padre Generale e confratelli Capitolari, Mentre sta per risplendere in meraviglia di luci e di colori il sole di questa giornata dedicata all’Annunciazione a Maria , vi giungano, caro Padre Generale e confratelli Capitolari, il nostro fraterno ricordo e l’augurio di celebrare questi giorni di riflessione, dialogo, preghiera, decisioni per il futuro della Congregazione, animati dallo Spirito Santo, Radicati nel Carisma per una Missione universale. In questi giorni il Santo Rosario nella nostra Casa di San Luigi Guanella Romania sarà recitato secondo le vostre intenzioni che rendono vivo e impegnato il vostro cuore di guanelliani provenienti da più parti del mondo, portatrici del carisma di carità del Santo Fondatore. La nostra comunità dalla Romania vi saluta con tanto affetto all'inizio del XX Capitolo Generale, ringraziando di cuore il Padre Generale Alfonso Crippa ed il Consiglio Generale per tutto il bene che hanno fatto per la nostra Congregazione, ma sopratutto per la nostra comunità che è stato ispirato dallo Spirito Santo nel XIX Capitolo Generale, hanno dato la possibilità di una bella collaborazione con le nostre suore FSMP. Cosi noi siamo presenti da tre anni in questa terra svolgendo una bella missione lavorando nel campo vocazionale con giovani desiderosi di seguire lo spirito di San Luigi Guanella e collaborando nelle missione con le nostre suore. Con la guida e direzione di padre Ciro abbiamo costruito una bella fraternità e amicizia con le autorità della Chiesa locale, i nostri Vescovi della diocesi di Iasi, con tanti sacerdoti parroci, e una bella collaborazione con le nostre suore in varie attivita e servizi nel nostro apostolato. Questa inniziativa la consideriamo molto importante, perche oltre il gruppo di ragazzi che stanno con noi per la formazione umana , spirituale ed intelletuale, possiamo fare tanto bene ai nostri poveri come ci esortava il nostro Fondatore: " Non ci si puo fermare finche ci sono poveri da soccorrere". Per qui lavoriamo con i senza fissa dimora. Ringraziamo di cuore ciascuno di voi che ci sostenete con le vostre preghiere,affetto e l’aiuto economico, ma sopratutto ringraziamo il P Generale Alfonso Crippa, i padri del Consiglio Generale ma non possiamo non ringraziare tanto Padre Ciro che e venuto tante volte in Romania per sostenerci moralmente, spiritualmente, fraternamente in questo nuovo inizio dell'opera in Romania. Siamo certi che continuerete a sostenerci anche dopo questo Capitolo nei vari progetti che desideriamo intraprendere nel futturo. Vi assicuriamo insieme con le nostre suore e i nostri ragazzi della Romaina la nostra profonda ed intensa preghiera per voi sopratutto in questi giorni del Capitolo, perchè lo Spirito Santo sia la luce che illumini le vostre menti e guidi i vostri cuori per discernere e scegliere secondo la volonta di Dio. Vi auguriamo, insieme con le nostre suore e i nostri ragazzi della Romainacon l’aiuto dello Spirito Santo, di essere sempere di vero sostegno e incoraggiamento per tutti i confratelli, le consorelle, i cooperatori e i laici del mondo guanelliano; prospettive che aiutino tutti a rianimarsi nella gioia del dono di sé a servizio di Dio e dei poveri. Abbiamo tutti bisogno di queste parole e propositi di speranza! Ci affidiamo a Maria Madre della Divina Provvidenza perché ancora una volta ci educhi come i primi Apostoli a credere in Cristo e a manifestare la sua Gloria nella nostra vita vissuta quotidianamente bene. “Fare il bene per il Bene!” come ci esortava il Fondatore.
