“Come è bello lasciarsi guidare dallo spirito del Signore! Siamo noi pronti a ubbidire alle celesti ispirazioni?”
Ascoltando e vivendo le parole di San Luigi Guanella tutti noi, le suore, i preti e seminaristi guanelliani della Romania, abbiamo partecipato ai nostri esercizi spirituali lasciandoci guidare dallo Spirito del Signore. Gli esercizi Spirituali ci hanno aiutato ad avere una forte esperienza di Dio, che è stata suscitata dall'ascolto della sua Parola e viene compresa e accolta nel nostro proprio vissuto personale sotto l'azione dello Spirito Santo. Vi è stato un clima di silenzio e di preghiera e con la meditazione di una guida spirituale. Gli esercizi ci hanno dato la forza e la capacità del discernimento aprendoci alla purificazione del cuore, alla conversione della vita e alla sequela di Cristo per il compimento della propria missione guanelliana nella terra Rumena. Siamo stati uniti attraverso la nostra preghiera.
En la fiesta de San Felipe Neri, recordando los 154 años de la ordenación de San Luis Guanella, en el Seminario San Pío X de Tapiales en Argentina, el P. Provincial Ciro Attanasio en la celebración eucarística admitió la declaración de intenciones para el estudio de la Sagrada Teología a tres cohermanos (Yumar, Francisco y Jorge), instituyendo otros dos cohermanos en el ministerio de lectorado (Vinicius y Saúl) y otros dos en el ministerio del acolitado (Renán y Luis).
Agradecemos al Señor por estos pasos que van dando nuestros jóvenes cohermanos de América Latina hacia su consagración religiosa definitiva y al ministerio sacerdotal.

Invatation for prayers and accompaniment for our confreres who are about to renew their religious vows. I take this opportunity to thank all the formators and confreres who have accompanied and guided them. We congratulate these brothers and wish them that they may receive the necessary graces from the Lord to live this religious YES to the Lord.

On May 26, while we commemorate the 154th ordination anniversary of Founder and there are many important celebrations in our Family of don Guanella. The fifteen young confreres are renewing their religious vows in Philippines (Manila and Legazpi), and Vietnam. We are also thanking God for the events of perpetual profession in Rome and renewal of vows in DPP communities in India.
Here in Manila, Fr. Luigi De Giambattista presided over the Eucharistic Celebration in which he received the vows from ten brothers. He invited all of us to grow in His friendship, because the Lord is always faithful to His love. Let us make the encounter with Jesus through daily relationship that strengthens us. He invited the young confreres to widen their horizon to receive the Spirit the grace of that fire that came upon the apostles on the first Pentecost in Jerusalem.
The Congregation and the Church need their courageous YES in the midst of uncertainties and pains caused by the Pandemic. We should be able to open wide our arms and doors against the Pandemic. How can we not see in this a powerful and clear remind of the link between consecration and mission? Fr. Guanella Says, “Be grateful we are infirma mundi; we are limited, weak and fragile. We need of His continuous strength to keep fire alive! Fire in the Holy Ministry.
There were few of our Staff and our children who participated with their colorful presence. After the mass, the professed brothers shared their enjoyment and fun with the special children cutting the cake. We had a simple dinner as a family and played funny games and cherished the family spirit together.

Il 26 maggio 2020 a Manila nelle Filippine rinnovano i voti temporanei i chierici Christian Magdaong, Augustine Tran Thanh Tung, Francis Baliwas Bilaro, Harry R. Indonilla, John Baptist Huang Luong Nguyen, Joseph Nguyen Thanh Tam, Michael Adlaon, Peter Nguyen Van Dien e Roger Genovia nelle mani di don Luigi De Giambattista, delegato del Superiore generale per la Confederazione Stella Maris.
Il chierico Paul Nguyen Van Dao rinnova a Legazpi. Riceverà i suoi voti il 26 maggio il suo superiore locale Fr. Eduardo G. Cerbito.
